We have a few days until school starts in our household. 


The kids are getting a little excited about going back to school. My daughter is anxious to start her Spanish lessons. She did really well last year in Spanish. She does well in all subjects. She is very intelligent. My son is not as anxious about starting back as my daughter is, but he is ready to learn! He is a very intelligent young man, but he takes a little longer to learn because he has Dyslexia. 


I can't wait till its time to get back to school. I love teaching them. They amaze me everyday. Its a privilege to be able to teach them at home. I get to watch them grow and learn. I get to learn as well and I love learning new things and even being refreshed on things I already knew, but forgot. 


I thank GOD everyday that I do not have to send them to public school, especially all the bad things that are going on in today's world. I want my children to love every human being! I thank GOD for giving me patience to be able to teach them at home. In our household GOD comes first!  


We use easypeasy with added stuff like daily learning drills and spelling words. For anyone that is looking for a free curriculum for this school year check out EasyPeasy. Its an all free curriculum, unless you decide to buy the workbooks so you don't have to print out the pages every day. You can also donate to the wonderful lady who provides this service free of charge. She puts a lot of work into what she does for all of us who choose to use her curriculum. Plus your children will learn and read from the bible everyday if that is what you want to do. The Bible is part of the curriculum, but you don't have to use it.

Van's Waffle Review and Giveaway

Van's Totally Natural Waffles Review and Giveaway  I received coupons in the mail for free  Van's Natural Foods   products in exchange for a review of their products. I decided to use a few of the free coupons to try one box of their totally natural waffles and one box of their chocolate chip waffles. I didn't get to try their english muffins yet because the store that I shop at doesn't carry them right now, but they told me that they would be selling the Van's english muffins in the near future. Van's Totally Natural Waffles are little in size but have a big taste. There are 32 mini waffles in each box; 8 sets of 4.
